2Create Gallery is focused on exceptionally talented artists.  The Gallery will also be looking for exciting new undiscovered artists, young and old, with the hope of empowering them to become professional artists through a gallery experience.  We will have up to 30 members - from painting to sculpture, jewelry, art furniture, weaving, etc., from the San Diego area.  Annual dues is $150.00 (fee is non-refundable).  Our membership committee will preview submitted bios/artwork and your work for membership consideration and be back with you immediately.

Rules & Regulations for Members

All artwork must be professionally presented and ready to hang.   There is a limit to the number and size of works that can be exhibited on walls due to space; however sliding art panels will be available to store/hang artwork not on the exhibit walls to show prospective clients interested in seeing additional art work.  Also, art bins/flat files will be available for unframed shrink-wrapped artwork. The Gallery can accept up to 8 to 15 original works and shrink-wrapped Giclees/reproductions of your original work per period, and the Gallery reserves the right to withhold acceptance of artwork.  All members must sign a contract and consignment sheets and will be assessed only a 20% charge on sales of their work (and an additional 4% credit card fee if applicable).

If an artist agrees to sit an average of 10 to 12 days per year they will not have to pay the annual dues.  The Gallery only needs around 8 “sitting” Resident Artists.  Space and tools will be available for sitters to “work” making their art during their scheduled days and the Gallery encourages this type of creative interaction with the public.  Sitting artists must agree to accept their scheduled Gallery sitting time in order to maintain their membership; however, Artists may exchange sitting dates with other sitting artists if they have a scheduling problem.
